And with full cognisance that it will never amount to much, especially as I fully intend to get bored of the whole thing and give up after this post.
Behold! The first stanza of the duck de jing.
(And yes I am just changing certain words from the original to give it a fowl flavour - originality, we’ve heard of it)

The Duck the can be followed is not the eternal Duck.
The quack that can be quacked is not the eternal quack.
The quackless is the origin of sky and pond.
While quacking is the origin of the myriad things.
Therefore, always fishless, you see the mystery
Ever fishing, you see the manifestations.
These two are the same–
When they appear they are quacked differently.
The sameness is the mystery,
Mystery within mystery
The pond surface tension to all marvels.
